PGPortal Reply Regarding OBC Certificate Cut-off Date (10-03-2017)

Hello Readers,

Team Qmaths has been continuously receiving messages from many readers regarding cut-off date of OBC Non creamy layer Certificate for various competitive examinations.

• Many Aspirants have OBC NCL Certificate beyond cut-off date as mentioned in SSC Notification.
• In this regards someone filed a PGPortal Query and reply has been received.
• According to PGPortal reply request for change/extension of cut-off date will not be considered.
• However according to recent supreme court verdict “Late submission of caste certificate could not be a reason for denying quota benifits”, as seen in case of DSSSB Recruitment.

Now after the denial from PGPortal, the candidates should send representation in large number to SSC/DOPT/PMO requesting them to consider their plea. (with reference of above mentioned case).

Even if representation does not work, the only option left is to file a court case.
